Hi, I’m Peter. Originally from the UK, I’ve been living in Switzerland for several years—first in Zurich and now in Coppet. I discovered my passion for astrophotography in 2022, and since then, my work has been featured on various websites and even in the prestigious Astrophotographer of the Year book.

Astrophotography is both an art and a science. Each image you see represents hours—often several nights—of capturing data under the night sky. The vibrant colors in my photos are not arbitrary but are derived from photons emitted by different gases, such as hydrogen, at specific wavelengths. I carefully process this data by stacking images to eliminate noise and enhance the signal. The result is a collection of monochrome masters, which I skillfully combine and process to create the vivid, high-contrast color images you see here.
